Mint is one of our favorite herbs in the garden.  It's fragrance and beauty are one of the marked plants of summer.  A great way to add more mint to your life is to put it in smoothies. Peppermint is strong by itself, but when mixed with other foods, it adds a nice fresh taste!

In our house we absolutely love smoothies. They are a great way to get large amounts of complex carbs, fiber,  healthy fats, and protein in one meal. Our kids also love them, it's a great way to get foods into them that they might not normally like.
