 Heather Kelly and Dr. Hillary

Heather Kelly and Dr. Hillary

Hey there everyone, welcome to the show. Today’s episode is a long one, but is full of awesome conversation and information with Heather Kelly. Heather is the owner and founder of Heathers Choice lightweight backpacking food. Her meals have become extremely popular in the hunting and backpacking community because of the healthiness and flavor compared to other backpacking meals such as Mountain House. Heathers Choice is an amazing replacement that allows you to get the nutrition you need in the backcountry in a lightweight easy to prepare package. Heather and I discuss the food addiction that has overcome most of us. Many don’t even realize how addicted we are to food, and how we use it as a compromise in our day to day life to make us feel better, which as a result often means we are not putting the most healthy things into our bodies. We talk a lot about the different hormones and chemicals in our brain that affect our mental health, how we feel in general, and how some people food addictions are actually ways that our bodies are trying to compromise for an imbalance in these chemicals. Heather and I know how important proper nutrition is and how much better it will make you feel, which is why I am so happy to share this podcast with you. I hope that you enjoy this episode, please leave us a review on iTunes, it helps us out more than you know! Thanks for tuning in!
